More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

Springfield, OR supercharger expansion is actually in the parking lot of an adjacent hotel therefore two different addresses. I vote that multiple locations with the same address or adjacent parking lots only be counted as one supercharger, but I'm open to debate.

Mt. Shasta, CA is a similar but slightly different issue. The supercharger expansion is also at a nearby business but said business is across the street. It feels silly to count this as two superchargers if we are not counting both sides of the various turnpike superchargers separately.

I agree--it's become more difficult to codify with different addresses, but common sense somewhat dictates that they should be counted as one when they're essentially co-located. Not sure if we need to say if they are within a certain radius or sightline, barring obstruction or just consider it on a case by case basis. I think the two Wausau and Madison chargers are far enough apart to count for two, for example. I'm still not sure what to think about urban chargers, if they're potentially going to have half a dozen or more locations within city limits.

For my two cents, I agree that the Eugene/Springfield Supercharger(s) should be considered as a single location. In fact, I looked at Tesla's website, and it shows as one location with 14 (I think) stalls. Mt. Shasta City is not yet operational, so I do not know how Tesla will describe that spot.

I agree with Bighorn that it is impractical to draw an arbitrary line or radius. However, perhaps a more practical approach might be to declare that Superchargers that are co-located and reached by the exact same directions save a left or right turn at the end be counted as a single location. This premise could easily be validated by copying the turn-by-turn navigation instructions that are displayed in the car.

Merry Christmas !

We'll be on a new roadtrip tomorrow.
1 car, 5 days, 14 countries, 54 superchargers, 4.650 km.

(hohoho, 14 countries - that's one which is hard to beat in the Americas ;):p )

372 superchargers now in Europe, including 1 in Moscow - 1.000mile from the nearest suc in Poland.
Hopefuly next year, we get a supercharger-route via the Baltics to Moscow and St Petersburg. And back via Finland and Sweden
That would make yet another nice superchargertrip. Best wishes !
