yup, my point was that it is past the original completion date, but not by a lot and making good progress. They have til 3/30 to complete and still be "on schedule" for Q1.
It's 1 cabinet for every 4 stalls? I'm guessing this spot is for the utility transformer? The charging stalls are in, and the power cabinets are supposed to go in this week
+1 ^^^ yup The recent weather caused some more delays of a couple weeks + approval delays. Some dayYup yup! Now we wait...
Looking forward to this one opening! I might choose to grab a hotdog at Sinbad’s while I charge instead, though. And a few more things on the checklist, like camera replacement, testing, drainage check, cleanup, striping, city signoff, NVE signoff, signs, AND a sucker.... er uh... I mean a lucky participant to come get a wonderful charge while getting a burger at Wendy's I'd hoped to take more photos, but I've got to get down to Carson City for a month project. You folks sure are doing a nice job of tracking progress on this one
The picture from yesterday (above) shows the area fenced off, with stalls covered and construction equipment still on site.Did this open?
That hasn't been my opinion. Those two superchargers locations are ones I visit often and never have to wait. And now there will be two more this year with one of them opening up soon. Just my opinion, but I don't see the issue.I am in Reno area now and its really short Superchargers..... just some at the dumpy Eldorado and a few at Atlantis.... Youd think since its a tourist city there would be at least one decent place already!!!
How soonThat hasn't been my opinion. Those two superchargers locations are ones I visit often and never have to wait. And now there will be two more this year with one of them opening up soon. Just my opinion, but I don't see the issue.
I had to wait by the Atlantis a year or so ago. A few people charging, plus two empty Teslas parked at the stalls but not plugged in. I assumed they were assholes just claiming the spots because they were close to the casino. Rude. I called Tesla and they said they couldn't do anything about it. I offered to send them pix with VINs of the offenders, but they weren't into the notion of enforcement. That hasn't been my opinion. There's currently 6 V2 and 16 V3, and 3 more V3 locations in Sparks/Reno are under construction with what seems to be 8 + 12 + 24 additional stalls. Hopefully 3x will help?I am in Reno area now and its really short Superchargers
Was there a utility transformer in the left bay of the cinder block enclosure? Left edge of your picture? That is what is holding this up. Once there’s a transformer it can be turned on.Drove past a little bit ago. View attachment 914309
Actually, other things holding it up. There also has to be a final signoff by NVE, so not just the delay you mention. Was there a utility transformer in the left bay of the cinder block enclosure?
