Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
There is mention of this supercharger on a local Facebook group called My Scotts Valley. Since it’s not a Tesla group, there are some angry / confused people chiming in with the usual questions and comments. If you’re on the My Scotts Valley group, they could use some educating.

I could use some entertainment. Is this about the cancer caused by using electricity, or the explosions that will happen from all the gas that Teslas use?
Moderator note: let’s stay on topic, which is the future Scotts Valley Supercharger and construction progress. Anyone who wants to go on FB and engage in debate with the “confused people” referred to by @Robert831 in the My Scotts Valley group, feel free.
I'm visiting in the area and stopped to check it out. There's definitely 16 parking places with Tesla signs but there's still a lot more work to do. Here's a couple of photos.
It's funny to see so much interest in my neighborhood parking lot! I live a couple miles away and pass this location most every day, including shopping regularly at this Nob Hill, so allow me to provide an update... as of today, the work fence has been removed:

Perhaps. Or maybe just to free up additional parking for the shopping area while the work continues. The rest of the parking lot has been more crowded while the fencing was up.

I used to work in Scotts Valley and live in Felton and as a soon to be Tesla owner I've been tracking this and driving by whenever I need to shop. Happy to see this is going in. It's also true, the amount of trucks in this area that will annoy or pester Tesla's is high. I've seen some of that behavior up in Ben Lomond.
