Back again today and expansion is not active. There are no more fences so technically you can enter the lot but none of the chargers are illuminated. In-car info doesn’t show entry code anymore either for now.
Update from today. Looks like no expansion until after the inspection on 10/11 (thanks for digging up that info). Tried to enter kiosk/bathrooms today with in-app code (not in-car ) and it worked. Forgot * at the end at first but went back and it opened. Didn’t go in but probably good to go
Hi all, update 10/12 at 7:20:
Expansion isn’t open but there are some crew working/checking on cabinets etc. Entrance is blocked by cones at the moment.
Two nights ago, there was a crew doing deep cleaning. The cleaned everything including the stalls on both sides. I was like: is there an opening ceremony or something lol
I have seen some serious abuse of public restrooms of late where the homeless just lock themselves in and spend the day. Not my dream getaway but if you are gonna be hassled for not going "home" I kinda get it. Personally I'd try to find a free J1772 and base my homelessness around that, but I own an EV. Probably if you can't afford a domicile you gave up your fancy car a long time ago.
I can confirm that the expansion is up. Feels good to see numbers like 46 out of 62 stalls available. Happy to have this location as I come here a good amount. Now let’s go Sherman Oaks Galleria (with free parking for Teslas during charging hopefully, like Pacific Palisades)!
Also: Rain today, making you realize the solar canopies have gaps…

Sorry, not yet. I did see someone go in though and not come storming out right away I wonder if they're regularly maintained, actually. Probably, right? I'll take some pics next time.

Whoever at Tesla who updates the TESLA>COM/FINDUS page isn't doing their job very well. When 1819 Cloverfield went active in early October, this one at 1401 Santa Monica Blvd that opened in Feb disappeared from the map. Now it's back on the map, but clicking on it gets no info.
