Supercharger - Palmer, MA

It appears Tesla may be thinking about installing a 12 stall supercharger in Palmer, MA in the Ocean State Job Lot & Big Y Supermarket shopping plaza with an address of 1178 Thorndike St, Palmer MA. A one line note in the planning board minutes from February 7th, 2022 mention it:

I'm waiting to hear back on the status of this - it may or may not be happening. For now, I'm going to suggest we not place a permit pin on supercharge.info for this location until we know it's moving forward.

This site is 7.6 miles from Palmer Motorsport Park and would be a nice addition for those that run the track.

Palmer has posted a July 19th public hearing for a new National Grid utility pole about where one might put one to supply service to superchargers near the Ocean State Job Lot. I think this location is happening.

@tes-s @corywright Your call on if this additional info warrants a permit pin - I'm still hoping for a response to some inquiries I've made to more positively confirm this as well.

This site is confirmed - plan will be presented at the August 1st planning board for a minor site plan approval. I'm trying to get a copy of the site plan to share as well. This one will be nice to have so close to Palmer Motorsports for future track events.

The pre-fab units are in place, as of this morning. Some conduit work still to do between the pre-fab slabs. Nothing on the transformer pad or the telephone pole yet.

Sorry... I punted on Sturbridge, I was tired and still had some driving to do. I did check the app while I was parked in Vernon (for dinner, naturally), and then Charlton - if Sturbridge had showed up as operational you would be hearing about that!

Hmmm... didn't know panel gaps in superchargers was a thing

Finally - it appears we have just had a transformer installed recently, with a meter socket ready and waiting. Also looks like primary wiring up the pole is done - can't tell if it's hooked up at the top or not. We're getting very close to done.
