Supercharger network is critical infrastructure

Please write your rep's. Use the following or your own words:

Dear Senator [Your Senator’s name here and/or President Biden],

Although Tesla may recover from Muskism, the Tesla Supercharger network has become critical infrastructure and, as such, the incompetence of an individual or any one company’s financial health must not jeopardize that. Tesla exists at the pleasure of our governed society.

It’s time to put in place contingencies in case Tesla’s ability to maintain existing infrastructure becomes degraded.

With gratitude for your service,

Alternate, milder, wording:

Dear Senator [Your Senator’s name here and/or President Biden],

Although Tesla may recover from Musk's increasingly erratic behavior, the Tesla Supercharger network has become critical infrastructure and, as such, Musk’s fickle behavior or Tesla’s financial health must not jeopardize that. Corporations should only exist to serve our governed society. Not the other way around.

It’s time to put in place contingencies in case Tesla’s ability to maintain existing infrastructure is further degraded.

With gratitude for your service,

So you want the government to by force take over private property? Socialist much? Congress appropriated 7.5 BILLION for EV charging infrastructure and has yet to build a single charger. Not take it over,

Not take it over, but set minimum performance standards ( up time, density, usage data sharing, and similar )with a clear pathway toward enforcement and brokerage of maintenance contracts if minimum standards are not met.

It's a public utility, and should be regulated like one.

And your solution is....? Ignore the situation? Maybe you don't live out in a rural area like I do and can take the bus if the Superchargers deteriorate or the Supercharger network or your car gets hacked because of poor cybersecurity. Maybe you'll just take the bus or hitchhike. So your solution is....?

its NOT a public utility, its a service offered by a PRIVATE entity. If you dont like it use another service like Charge Point. Charge point has about 55,000 charging stations compared to Tesla's approximately 2,200. I don't see you advocating this same treatment for any of the other charger network companies. What your advocating for is called COMMUNISM.

Actually I do live in a rural area which is why I have a wall connector. I don't need the government to take care of me or hold my hand. If your local supercharger goes down and that leaves you stranded, maybe an EV is not the right car for you...
