Looks like another permit was filed on TDLR for the same address. The status of the original never changed to "Review Complete"

I’m here at the construction site, this will be difficult to find for first time visitors. It’s at the back of the parking lot on the roof top of the World Market. Couple guys working on the site, still a long ways to go, but glad to see construction has finally started.
Drove by last Saturday, 4/1/2023. Really excited for this installation. Having something on I-10 within the loop is going to be super convenient. Glad they didn’t go the Montrose route and only install 8 stalls

All the charging cabinets are mounted in their final locations and the wire ways to route the cabling to the charging pedestals are in place along the entire West and South areas on the parking deck. Those areas are circled in the satellite view. There were 4 pedestals mounted during my visit 4/20.

All charging pedestals are installed and the transformer pad is ready to accept the big green box.

Looks like the final total is 35 charging pedestals
Still waiting for the transformer, which is waiting on the contractor to complete their wiring.

Agreed, which is why I posted about it. There are 15 pedestals installed along the south wall, and a line of 20 along the west wall.

Easy access from I-10; 35 stalls; grocery/gym/shopping/dining options are the key advantages of the SCer.
Location is online but was not showing as active on my car.
At 35 stalls - wrapped around the two car corners of the upper parking lot - it’s the largest SC location to-date within Houston.
It’s on the southern side of I-10 meaning eastbound traffic will have easiest on/off and for through town traffic via 10 this location will be easier to access than the Galleria from a traffic perspective.
Power cabinets are located where the two banks of SC’er meet.
And there’s immediate access to a LA Fitness and Sprouts (of which the lot is built atop).
Here’s a picture of the sign showing all the stores at the site; this is also a good visual navigation point too as the ramp up to the SCers is adjacent to this sign. The sign should be visible from eastbound feeder road for those looking for the entrance.

Walking down the steps at the ‘back’ of the lot (those closest to the SCers electrical control boxes), one can walk across the street to a WalMart as well as other options. A quick survey revealed a pizzera and a Starbucks for those so inclined.

SC bank is to the left, WalMart to the right across the street; see next pic.
All in all glad to see this one come online and ideally it’ll start to relieve pressure on the woefully-to-small W Alabama charger at HEB as well as the Galleria location. Also the ease of access to/from 10 should be far preferable to fighting traffic in/out of the Galleria.
Two busy SCers here in Houston; West Alabama usage is insane for TX.
