Anybody been by recently? The TransCanada is apparently closed East of Golden for the next month, so a significant charge is now needed for the leg between Golden and Canmore via Highway 95/93 (262km).

As of April 14 still no transformers- weather was only 5c with bright sun but no issue driving non stop from calgary to golden via this detour in model Y

Granted I'd rather have Invermere or Cranbrook done.

Drove by today and there is now FINALLY a green transformer box mounted at the end of the mechanical equipment. Also saw cabling being done up the hill at Electrify Canada so BC Hydro must have finally provisioned the power requirements

well I'm driving by on Canada Day assuming BC opens up

if hydro keeps commissioning superchargers at this rate (Hope and Golden today), I may take back all the bad things that I have said about them......maybe not

Terrible ICE’ing at Golden. In 2 visits half the stalls iced with cars/trucks on the first stop and second time ALL stalls iced by a delivery semi with cars waiting to charge. If you’re heading east it’s no comfort that Revelstoke has only 4 stalls and in the summer be ready to line up.

Actually now I'm not sure if it was the new one in Golden or the new one in Canmore. Both of them worked without issue though so good news indeed!
