I go by like once a week. The GM at the Travel Center told me because of COVID-19 travel restrictions the contractor said probably not until the beginning of June.

Get back to work on it early June. Not finished until July at this point.

Yes please update the progress. Casper is a much better stop for our trips between CO and ID than using Gillette.

I spoke to the business development person for the company that owns Hat Six, and they are really excited for them to be up and working as well. She sent me this photo of the work being done this morning. Looks promising! I'll swing by later today or tmw to check on them...

OK, I've tried attaching the photo to the post.

More importantly: I got lucky and caught the contractors as they were coming back from lunch. They told me that Tesla is scheduled to come up and commission the supercharger on June 30th. Fingers crossed!

We’re making this drive on 7/1. Have tried to make it Wheatland to Sheridan? I have a LR Model 3, it should be able to make the 255 miles, right?

There’s a destination charger at the Hilton garden inn in town should you want to grab a bite to eat and give yourself a little cushion.

Depends on the wind and if you’re willing to drive slower than the 80 mph speed limit.

You'll probably be facing a headwind on I-25 between Douglas and Casper, and something of a quartering headwind on the rest of the route. That can really mess with your range.
You might want to take I-25 from Wheatland to Douglas, then WY 59 to the Gillette supercharger, then I-90 on to Sheridan. Or drive 50 mph all the way up I-25 to Sheridan.
