Splitvolt questions

Hey guys.

Wondering if anyone has used a splitvolt but than ran a nema 15-50 male to female cable with one end plugged into the splitvolt and then hooked up the other end with the wires up to a external nema plug witj a weather proof box.

I wouldn't recommend the SplitVolt at all. Mine failed after about 6 months of use and haven't been able to get a warranty replacement.

Mine failed after a year. It I not auto switching anymore. It makes noise when it tries to switch. I will contact the company.
