So I've got a weird problem with my trade-in

I have a trade-in and have accepted tesla's offer. Tesla will have to pay off my credit union since I have a loan in it. Odd thing is I have the title with no lein on it due to a mistake from the DMV and the credit union never noticed. Will there be a chance for me to mail the title to Tesla during trade in or would safer thing be to just go do the title off at the credit union. I did spray to them about it and they said to just give it to the dealer during trade in, but now that I'm getting a Tesla instead I have no clue where I could do this since they don't exactly operate in Texas

I’d just submit it and see where the check goes, assuming there is a specific about listed on the sales contract.

If you pay the credit union and Tesla pays them, it’s going to be harder to get your money back.

If Tesla pays you, just pay the CU.
