Who would have thought a part would become defective that had a 10% failure rate last spring because of a redesign from S/X to make it cheaper?

As far as I know there are zero official recalls, but Tesla is replacing M3 inverters.

I think it is pretty obvious @Stanley S. like Eds, insiderinfo etc. have been providing real information. More often than not, IMO, these leaksters are real. People post because they are sitting on hot info and want to dish. That's pertty human IMO.
There really is no incentive to post falsehoods on an expert hobbyist site like TMC. This is not the place to affect stock. Maybe it was half a decade ago, not today. This is where the experts come to scrutinize stuff and there's a social benefit to sharing info one has - no financial one.
Just my opinion, but a few decades on the Internet gives me this hunch.
