right scroll wheel replacement

I have a 2015 Model S...the left scroll wheel works and the right one has decided not to work anymore. I bought a replacement on Ebay and swapped it myself as per youtube instructions.

The new right scroll wheel doesn't work. The left one continues to work. I tried to reboot the car, no luck...

Any suggestions? TY

Doesn't it have to be coded to work with your car?

You might need to do some Googling on this (or ask Tesla) but I think I read somewhere that both wheel assemblies have to be replaced as a pair.
