Rattling noise 24 model y

Hi Everyone,

I have a new 24 model y and it is making a rattling noise in the back that I can’t figure out. I took to tesla and of course the noise didn’t happen at all on a road test and they couldn’t do anything.

Im going to try again next week with Tesla but any help would be appreciated. Below is a link to the video. Thanks

Ya that would drive me nuts!

May want to check the license plate and cover, the dealer's plate rattled on mine, luckily it was the first place I checked. Easy fix.

That carpet panel looks loose where the seat belt is running from? Maybe a clip or something rattling.

For these I typically like to get a frequency generator and play it through the car Bluetooth loudly and see if I can find a frequency that makes the rattle happen and diagnose from there in my garage without having to drive it.

Thanks. Would that piece pull up like the other plastic panels?

I would think it would either clip in or go under something. I think mine is a plastic panel and not carpet panel. I have a 2022 MYP.

sounds like loose wires somewhere, I had that in my 21 and they it just took the right tech to get it fixed. Was in the passenger side rear taillight area.
