Previously Repaired Model S From Tesla - Buying Advice

Hello all.

We are in the market for an S and came across the below. Curious on the forums thoughts on buying a previously repaired. The auto check shows the accident but doesn't give any idea as to how bad the damage was, repair costs, etc.

Thoughts/perspective would be greatly appreciated.

I would pass on a previously repaired car. Tesla is not good with filling in the blanks.

Most likely Tesla did not do the body work. This is a good thing. Car is probably indistinguishable from one w/o an accident history. That being said, it will always affect the resale value. That’s a great car for 39k though- with a battery warranty and 1 year bumper to bumper warranty

I found a 2018 100D for about $40k.....but in Fort Myers Florida...bit of a drive from the west coast, lol.
