I had trouble finding a full service paint correction specialist and PPF installer in Palm Beach. I also wanted to perform a chrome delete and was having a hard time even finding that. There are some but they are either hacks offering ridiculous low prices or think they are GOD and wanted ridiculous prices. $750 to just chrome delete my mirrors??? Cmon bro. Or they could do the PPF/Vinyl but couldn't offer paint correction and ceramic coating. Or vice versa.
So I gave up on Palm Beach and went with AutoPaintGuard (one of the vendors that advertises on this forum) in Tampa. I am more than satisfied with their work and STRONGLY recommend them. They did full paint correction and installed Suntek on my MX to protect the front from minor road debris. I had a great experience with them and anyone that gets to work with them I believe will be equally satisfied. But they are in Tampa and I'm in Palm Beach. An 8hr round trip. Not exactly ideal.
Separate from that I eventually found someone to do a partial chrome delete (CD) and it looked ok but my OCD started to kick in and the imperfections with the original installer started annoying me and I wanted it redone. Plus not having the mirrors done was driving me crazy. The installer actually tried to wrap them and said it was too hard and gave up. I did request this to be done by AutoPaintGuard but the vinyl he needed wasn't available so it was not possible to do in the timeframe I had to work with. I am sure if it was they would've done a great job.
So via social media (instagram) I found another installer (www.tfauthority.com) in Palm Beach and via their Instagram feed saw they did a CD on a blue MX that looked awesome. I reached out via Instagram and setup an install date. Below are the results and I'm super happy with the install. Everything is vinyl. The T emblems, P100D, and rear strip were all hand cut. Not only does the guy do excellent work but he is also awesome to work with. I highly recommend them. He has a bay in Boca Raton and just opened a satellite location in Wellington that is by appt only.
BTW, they are also an Xpel authorized installer and as of right now the only one in Wellington, FL. If you have PPF needs I would recommend contacting him. Ask for Eric. They collaborate with Squeaky Pete's (Home) at the Wellington location so if you need paint correction, ceramic coating, and PPF it is a one stop shop. Squeaky Pete's website is pretty basic but check them on IG to see some of their work. It's impressive.
