If the handles failed "out" you wouldn't be able to secure the car.

I had a handle fail "out". It would not retract. In my case, the door would not open, so the car was still secure (it would open from the inside however).

A pro would have used the boot/trunk or sunroof to get in and out of if the door handles weren't working.

Talk about self-inflicted wound. No wonder many are worried on how the falcon doors are going to hold up.

The complexity of the door handles will be a walk in the park compared to the falcon doors - door seals not flush when closing, wind noise, not opening, not closing, moisture seeping in, opening/closing too slow..

As he says and as can be seen on the video, only driver's door handle would not come out. Other 3 handles did come out so entering the car and driving it and exiting from driver's door would not have been a problem.
