I'm starting this thread because the mods are displeased with numerology posts on the roundtable. Most of this came from the internet except three I came up with myself. You can find this on Twitter; I didn't feel like cluttering this post with sources.
I think this 12/9 thing is looking like something is legitimately going on.
Evidence:
To start with, let's consider the background. On 5/1/2020, Elon tweeted "Stock price too high IMO" at 8:11 p.m. PST. Tesla subsequently announced a 5 to 1 split on 8/11/2020, which establishes a potential precedent. Also, we know that Elon is a geeky troll who does not respect the SEC. A stream of cryptic tweets that only fans would believe to announce big news in advance while providing plausible deniability if the SEC tried to take this to court would be right in character for him.
The share price recently has been a bit over $1000 which is near the price at which the last stock split occurred.
On 11/4/2021, TSLA hit an intraday all-time high of $1243. If this were to increase 69% and go through a 5:1 split, the resulting share price would be $420. This part is probably a freak coincidence because Elon doesn't actually control the stock price and if he had been planning in advance to have something happen on 12/9 it's not like he could just intentionally make it go to $1243 in early November. But let's add it on to the pile because it's rather remarkable and fits neatly into the overall picture.
On 11/6/2021, Elon tweeted:
Note that the post time was 1:05 p.m. PST and the dice show a one on top and two and three on the sides.

On 11/13/21, Elon tweeted about the 129th orbital flight of Falcon 9. Strange milestone.
On 11/14/21, Elon tweeted "Due to inflation, 420 has gone up by 69."
On 11/16/21, Elon tweeted about the 12 million pounds of thrust produced by a Falcon 9, as the caption for a picture of the nine boosters. Post time was 7:20 p.m. PST, which is 4:20 a.m. in Berlin.
Over that same week as these tweets came out, Elon sold tranches of varying amounts of stock, except for three of them all being 934091 shares.
To the default number of decimal places an iPhone calculator gives, 12092021 / 934091 = 12.945228
4 + 5 + 2 + 2 + 8 = 21
12, 9 and 21 in sequence again.
To the full number of decimal places for an iPhone, the result is 12.94522803452769
12 + 9 + 21 = 42. This is also one of Elon's favorite numbers, and it comes from his favorite book, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, where the supercomputer Hal provides 42 as the answer for the ultimate meaning of life and everything, suggesting that the hard part is coming up with the right question in the first place.
12/9 is International Anti-corruption Day. He has been tweeting a lot about political and Union corruption lately.
Note also that the tweets were not cherry-picked to fit this narrative. Rather, they comprise all of the strange out-of-the-blue tweets he has made in the last 2 weeks.
Finally, way back on 6/29/2021, Elon liked this tweet from Billboard charts with "5-1" in it.

- On 11/8, Elon had made two tweets, one saying quote "Nothing matters" and a self-reply at 11:34 saying "(zero is a cool concept)". In the string of digits above, if we add up all the digits after 12.9 but count the 8 and 0 as 80, the sum is 129.
- The digits following the 0 are 34, same as the number of minutes after the hour in the tweet about zero.
- 80 = 4 * 20
- Now, if we add up all the digits in the entire number 1+2+9+4+5+2+2+8+0+3+4+5+2+7+6+9 = 69
- If we add them up as duples and move the first 9 to the end: 12+45+22+80+34+52+76+99 = 420
