NSW EV Charger “Unveiling” events

Today I received an email from the NSW Electric Vehicles team promoting “EV Fast Charging Station Unveiling” days.

First cab off the rank is Cabarita Beach, Bogangar on the NSW far north coast. This appears to be the NRMA site that opened last month, and they are having the “unveiling” on 18 May?? . I am not aware of any other site being built at that location!

Here’s the text of the email:

We’re opening 10 new NSW Government-funded EV fast charging stations across the state. This is more than just a ribbon cutting, join us to:

• see how EV chargers work
• get up close with EVs and various industry experts
• understand the growing EV fast charging network in NSW
• learn how EV charging can seamlessly fit into your lifestyle.

There will be local food trucks and activities for families as well as information sessions from the Institute for Sensible Transport.

First stop: Cabarita Beach

Parking: Street and onsite parking is available.
Cost: Free
