Normal front motor sound? High pitched modulation with a normal load between 40 and 60 km?

guess my hearing is wearing out because i didn't hear anything. in general though you should not hear any whine. what is your year/configuration? has this whine happened on day one? older threads wrote that a ground strap on the front motor was loose/need replacing. thaty cured it for many.

Yes, normal. I put a microphone on mine to hear it better and it sounds the same.

It might just be how the car is programmed, to send power in short bursts when under light acceleration.
