Nightmare situation with 2018 MX suspension

Anyone have an extended warranty? I wonder how well they work. How bad they cost?

Assuming I get a good one, my PX will be my last vehicle. I'm 70, and still working, which is why I can afford it, but thinking I may go part time when it's paid off in a year or so.

Suspension has always been a weak point of the Model X (and to some point with the S).
If things are fixed at no charge under warranty, those parts do not carry a new part warranty. This is similar to what all other auto manufactured do.
What an employee tells you carries little legal weight, compared to the written warranty from the manufacturer.
Employee can make a case for Tesla to do good will repairs at no or reduced costs, but that is always on a case by case basis, and up to Tesla, not the employee.
Nobody wants to be subject to large auto repair bills, but they can(and do) happen.
