They’ve been shipping these new colour to China the last few months so don’t think it necessarily means the will come from BerlinInteresting.
This tells us that Berlin (the only paint shop equipped to spray those colours) has finally started shipping RHD vehicles to UK & Ireland.
That indirectly also goes part way to explaining some of the production cut and reduction in number of shifts at Shanghai as that RHD supply changes factory.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see a boost to UK & Ireland sales based on this change as some who have been wanting the new colours finally have a reason to pull the trigger on an upgrade.
Huh. You’re correct, I had totally missed that update. They’ve been shipping these new colour to China the last few months so don’t think it necessarily means the will come from Berlin
I agree it's extremely expensive for paint, feel like they want people to just go for white as it makes it easier for them to produce.I really like the new colours, Quicksilver in particular, the cost is silly though, £2600 for the Midnight Cherry and Quicksilver, £1300 for the Black and Blue.
Can't wait for the Juniper now the new colours are out
They need the stealth from all the things that are trying to kill them thereNew colours are welcome, odd the Aussies seem to also get stealth grey now but I guess they deserve a break living with all that sunshine

Just wait until towards the end of quarter when it’ll be offered for free.I really like the new colours, Quicksilver in particular, the cost is silly though, £2600 for the Midnight Cherry and Quicksilver, £1300 for the Black and Blue.

I'm waiting for Q3's buy one Tesla, get one free offer so they can reduce their inventoryJust wait until towards the end of quarter when it’ll be offered for free.
Good point, but I haven't seen any reductions for a while, and I've been waiting so long for Tesla to sort out the parking issues that I've decided to wait for Juniper. It may be a while I know, but it's likely to be the last car I buy, so worth the waitJust wait until towards the end of quarter when it’ll be offered for free.
Not Cherry red, only the new Ultra red. At this stage we don't know if China has been updated to spray Cherry red or they will come from Berlin. They’ve been shipping these new colour to China the last few months so don’t think it necessarily means the will come from Berlin
Kind of makes sense as it’ll reduce their shipping costs nicely plus no risk of increased tariffs coming from China. Not Cherry red, only the new Ultra red. At this stage we don't know if China has been updated to spray Cherry red or they will come from Berlin.
ATM no other countries supplied by China have Cherry Red as an option - which implies they could have switched UK production to Berlin.
Yes sorry only Quicksilver, there was a rumour this morning saying Berlin are making cars to be shipped to India (RHD) so would make sense for UK cars to be built at same timeNot Cherry red, only the new Ultra red. I would imagine down to trade agreements between EU and India? Tesla want to build a factory in India and this is a way in to their marketAny reason why they wouldn't ship from China? Seems a bit mental you'd ship a car all the way to India from Europe when there's a factory churning out cars on their doorstep in Shanghai
