Oh geez - I’m 5149XX picking up next week so we’ll see what I getBased on a reddit forum it looks like vins in the 515-517 range is where the panel change begins
Nope. Not in any crazy rush. I'll fight them on any trade-in value difference though. You have any idea how long it will take to get a new car?
Front flaps and rear PPF only installed in “winter” climates. My Idaho MYP delivered 3/5/22 has them. I had a list of states from Tesla but can’t find it. Pretty much Northern States And Eastern States.I’m 518. Anyone know when the mud flaps/PPF started or is that sporadic?
I agree. Luckily my delivery on Friday came with the original white panels.Looks great with the black interior.
Not so sure I like the white interior version.
Would that include Illinois? Guess I'll find out in about 2 weeks.Front flaps and rear PPF only installed in “winter” climates. My Idaho MYP delivered 3/5/22 has them. I had a list of states from Tesla but can’t find it. Pretty much Northern States And Eastern States.
Good luck with that. Wholesale prices are dropping at auction pretty rapidly so consumer prices are coming next. Unless you are trading in a Tesla you might be screwed.Nope. Not in any crazy rush. I'll fight them on any trade-in value difference though.
Because many people like the wood or don’t mind it. I personally don’t mind it.Glad I got mine before they made the change. The wood is ugly enough on the dash, not sure why they thought metastasizing it to the door trim too would be a good idea.
Are the people who like it in the majority or minority? That’s what should matter. Supposedly Tesla is good at determining what owners like/dislike and use/don’t use. Hence why the UMC, radar, and passenger lumbar were removed.Because many people like the wood or don’t mind it. I personally don’t mind it.
It appears that both are getting it.Is it only MYP gets a new design? How about MYLR, any info?
Yeah, well... if anyone gets stuck with wood door trim they don’t want I will happily swap out for my pristine month-old woodless panels...Glad I got mine before they made the change. It adds more style and they can easily be covered if you don’t like wood. Tesla interior looks and feel more cheap than modern imo. Especially for a $70k car.Are the people who like it in the majority or minority? That’s what should matter. Supposedly Tesla is good at determining what owners like/dislike and use/don’t use. I have a feeling that the people who like the old wood trim in their modern $70k vehicle are in the minority.
