After waiting two months for the Tesla Online Store to send me winter tires, I have decided to buy them elsewhere.
Salesman at Tirerack.com is telling me that I can go from the 20" tires to 19" and have better control in the snow and ice.
Currently I have 265/45-20 in the front and 275/45-20 in the rear. The salesman is telling me to go to all four tires of the same size 255/50R-19. Naturally, I have to buy different rims to make this work.
Anyone want to tell me why this is not a good idea? I cannot seem to find any feedback on this issue on this forum, or others.
Of course if you want to tell me that it is a good idea I would love to hear that as well.
