Mobile connector melted

Hi,
I charged my m3 yesterday and found the alert messages. The total amp was lower to 16A from 32A. I found the red flash on the adapter box and a melt point on the box. The breaker was not tripped, so I think this caused by the wire inside the connector. Anyone else has the same issue and Tesla basic warranty will cove this ? Thank you in t.

Basic warranty should cover the melted mobile connector when it was included in the new car. Now you buy it separately so the new parts warranty should also cover this.

Just send a Service Center ticket so the can get you another one.

Good luck.
