{Mid-Sussex] Help testing my Charger

Hi

My 14 month old Ohme Pro has recently started tripping the 40amp RCBO when I charge my Model 3 as soon as it negotiates.

Can sometimes get an hour or so at under 9 amps but invariably trips.

If i set anything above ten it's an instant trip.

Installers have said they have seen in some cases that the car is at fault - I suspect RCBO. They suggested getting another car to test it out.

Is anyone on here near the Burgess Hill area and able to lend me a hand testing their car on it for me?

With RCBO it can be earth related OR overload. If it was earth related then it would surely trip just the same when charging at lower amps. Hard to believe it's overload related ... and if it's the car you would be tripping any other 32amp charge points so you can check by trying a different one. Same as you my bet is that it's nothing to do with the car.
