Is it just me or is it all tesla vehicles. If i drive with the sun on driver's side then nothing happens but if I'm driving with the sun on the passenger's side I generate a 'Lane Departure Avoidane feature unavailable' followed shortly by 'left door pillar blocked or blinded'. Now having spoken to Tesla they gave a number of reasons covering all possible weather scenarios and that I should clean the camera. Further to this once this happens they stay on for the majority of the journey. Tesla won't do anything to help as it is 'normal' feature. Having spoken to the mobile engineer/repair he tells me that the Lane Departure is linked to the two pillar cameras and has actually replaced the left pillar camera because of condensation. Still happens though! This a recent problem say the last three months and i fear it maybe a software upgrade issue?
