Your car flew through production! I, too, was surprised last week when my Late April delivery moved to Late March (and the dashboard reported "The Tesla factory is building your Model S") but as it stands today, I am still "In Production." I'm on the east coast as well so maybe I can stalk your status updates to get an idea of transit time whenever mine is off the line. I have had pretty decent and regular contact with my DS and we've even scheduled for a March 28th pickup so I guess he is pretty confident it really will be here before the end of March.

I've only been lurking here since my initial reservation so I can't remember if I have my stats in my signature so in case I don't (or they're old):
S85
19" Wheels (Not Cyclone)
Black
Body Color/Black Roof
Black Leather - The Original Series Seats (as opposed to The Next Generation or Deep Space 9)
Textile Headliner
Matte Obeche Wood (I waited too long to get the Lacewood :crying: )
Tech Package
Air Suspension
Sub Zero Weather Package

Still in transit as of today, I read somewhere else it usually takes 3 days for transit to east coast. I'm hoping tomorrow or Thursday it arrives and maybe I can get it on Friday ready for the weekend! I will keep you guys updated when anything changes.

I saw (Using the Model S tracking thread/spreadsheet) than an MS moved to "in transit" and then was delivered three days later to Maryland. So it's possible. Mine went to in transit today and I have a soft delivery date of keys in hand for 3/25. I'm thinking a week is more than enough time for the journey and prep.

Mine also updated to "In Transit" today! Today will be spent triple checking that all my ducks are in their respective cash, financing, and insurance rows. I'll also have to remember to update the spreadsheet when I get home.

I ordered my S85, Blue, Pano Roof, 21 Grey Turbine, Tan Leather, Matte Obeche, White Headliner with Tech Package on Feb 18th and scheduled to pick it up in Orlando this Saturday. was only "in production" for 2.5 days and then was shipping. Shipping will have taken 10 days to reach Florida. Pretty quick considering the original target delivery date was late April.

Just a data point. East coast. Shipped by train. Just about 3 weeks and it looks like it arrived yesterday - was supposed to pickup friday. So 3 days isn't always the case. I had taken work off friday and the car was still in Alabama - apparently the train to truck location.

HEY TESLA -----That is not even fair. I ordered in early November. Made no changes, started production 3/16 and still shows production. But happy for you AstroJax.

I had the exact same situation. My car is now built, on a train. As of yesterday it was in Amarillo, and they expect it up here in Chicago any day now. I can't wait.

Thanks for the explanation.

A few minutes ago my dashboard changed from "Your Model S will be confirmed on March 25" to "Your Model S has entered the production queue".

Will that eventually changed to an expected delivery date?

Sure would be nice to know when the car might arrive. :)

My page must be different as I don't see a "View Profile". Just a "My Profile" but that only leads to a page about my address, phone and such. Nothing about delivery.

However part way down the Dashboard page there is a Delivery section which shows an Estimated Delivery of "May". Plus I just received an email from Tesla saying the same thing (May).

Longer than I'd hoped but at least now I have plenty of time to clean out the garage.
