how come Tesla still take model long range X pre-order despite longer wait than model 3 longe range? Anyone know why?

Long waiting line for Model X is due to them not producing the regular car until the refreshed version was ready to produce. This long down time is what has caused the large backlog.

Now that they are ramping up production of the refresh, those waiting lines should rapidly become shorter.

I waited almost 1 1/2 years for my refreshed X. The wait was worth it, as it is an amazing car with great capabilities. Super smooth, quiet, powerful and loaded with technology unavailable in any other car.
