I have a model 3, and was lucky enough to snatch the long-range version that is 358 miles.
Have had it for just over a year now and love it! Times flies quickly.
It's an absolute joy to drive.

I'm considering wrapping it to protect the paint, but everyone in the area quotes 7-8k.
Not sure if that's fair or not, as my Google-fu tells me it shouldn't be much more than 2k to wrap.
Any pointers?

Welcome to the forum! I know the area quite well, I used to live not far away and spent a lot of time in Sarasot.

FYI - there is a very active Florida Tesla Owners group that I've been a part of. There are a lot of events around Florida. Plan to attend some if you want.

Do you want to use paint protection film (PPF) to protect the car or just use a less durable vinyl film to change the color? The quality of the work has a direct impact on the cost as to do it right will take more time. Either way (PPF or film) I'd get it done sooner than later to prevent the nose from getting all chipped up.
