Hansshow Steering Wheel Stuck

I bought a carbon fiber steering wheel from Hansshow in November and the heated function did not work. After months of going back and forth with support/service, they finally sent me a new one. Now, when I remove the air bag and steering wheel screw, I am unable to pull the steering wheel off the post.

Hansshow support has been completely unhelpful and sent me a video of the install that I have already watched and then ghosted me.

At this point, I just want this POS off my car. Has anyone had similar issues or have any suggestions? I wonder if it’s ok to use liquid wrench or some sort of penetrating oil.

You have a couple of choices. Use a steering wheel puller or use both palms of your hands and hit the wheel from behind evenly and hard, but be sure to put the nut back on the wheel loosely, screwing it in just a couple of threads. You don't want the wheel slamming you in the face if it does come off from hitting from behind.

Ive tried the palm method with no luck lol. do you know of one that is compatible with the tesla wheels? It doesn’t look like the Tesla wheel has threaded holes for the bolts on a steering wheel puller to thread into.

Did you try wiggling side-to-side to get it off? (pull out on left side, then pull on right, then repeat.)

Get a slide hammer (you can rent one from Autozone) and go to town, with a hit on one side and then switch to the other side with it attached as close to the center of the wheel as you can get it. Oh, and like Snakedoc said, put the bolt back in a few threads so you don't bust your nose.
