Hello!
I will be accepting delivery of my Model 3 (LR, AWD, EAP) on November 30, if all goes as planned. This is my first Tesla car and I'm very excited, as I'm sure everyone here was when they first got their cars.
I'm trading in a vehicle and looking forward to the changeover from ICE to EV.
I've been following Tesla since well before their IPO (invested in them when the IPO was offered) and have been really pleased to see them succeed in building these amazing machines. I kept saying that this would be the company to really nail it, and they've proved me right.
My delivery experience has been one of a bit of frustration though due to the lack of communication by both the Delivery and Sales Specialists. This really surprised me, then I began reading more things in forums and on Reddit and now realize it's not uncommon. Assuming Tesla is just trying to catch up to the demand and their staff is crazy busy and overwhelmed.
Regardless, I haven't been this excited about a car (or a whole lot else!) in decades.
