(I know this is not a feature suggestion place, but just curious of opinions on the idea. If this has been proposed, mods, please delete).
Driving today, I saw a billboard related to an AMBER alert. Given the power of the current (and, of course, FSD) computers in the Tesla vehicles, doing some sort of rectangle recognition (for license plates) plus character recognition doesn’t seem like it would be outside of the realm of possibility.
What if, when police issued an amber alert, Tesla could silently notify all vehicles within a reasonable range, to check for that license plate number? If found, it could trigger a message back to the mothership, etc.
