Ok, so this is not a WTB post but more of a discussion of what's going on in the second hand market for wheels in the Bay Area.
I've been looking for a set of Gemini takeoffs for my incoming MYP and I see a lot of brand new sets with Tesla factory stickers on the tires coming from sellers in Fremont. These don't look like they have ever been mounted to a car. These sellers tend to have multiple sets so maybe they have an inside connection to the factory. You can easily find these sellers on Craigslist, FB marketplace, but not here on TMC.
Any idea where they are coming from? Are they factory rejects? Wondering if anyone has any insight!
