Yeah it had to be the first one. The car was not the convertible and the temp computer graphics effect had the car "running into" the Jeff Bridges giant exoskeleton machine.

By the way it's BS. If they can't get it to flip then the Special Effects Dept should be fired. Not that I believe the SPFX dept. was incompetent. It was some other reason the filmmakers changed their mind and AUDI with others decided to use that as a sales tool.

Actually, almost all cars have traction control/some sort of ABS system which is why it wouldn't flip. They later went on about all the electronics they had to disable to get the desired effect, which... duh, you need to do that with most cars...

It was just a positive spin piece for Audi who was a prominent advertiser.

If the car needs to flip or jump, a large pneumatic air ram is bolted into the car. If the ram points down, it can be triggered by the driver to fire a pole at the ground, propelling the car into a flip. An air ram pointing backward can launch a car into an impressive jump.
