Driving from Toronto to New York / New Jersey

Many thanks to the help I've received from reading the forums. I've picked up a ton of knowledge and I have read the many posts/blogs on eco-driving (Doug_G, etc - thanks). I just posted in the new owner's thread now even though I picked up my Model S a month ago.

Next weekend I need to drive from Toronto to New Jersey. I went through some preliminary numbers (I have a P85) and looked at the charging points along the way but so far, I think it would be a 3-day trip. I don't mind two days but any more than that makes it difficult to justify the time. It's great that I can get better distance now that the temperature is a little higher.

Any thoughts? Ideally, I would love to see a supercharger or two along the way but that looks like its a way off. Maybe the next announcement...

I started a thread on this topic last year. Charging in Upstate New York (or maybe Vermont). Looks like there are a lot more charging opportunities since then... might be time to update the thread.
