Also, if you have a better rate from a credit union, you can easily refinance with them after you get your loan through Tesla financing. It’s a pretty quick thing to do.
Why would you do that if Tesla matched the rate anyway?

…as an option if Tesla wouldn’t. Just pointing out that there’s no need to feel trapped in a loan. If you find a better deal somewhere else, refinancing an auto loan is pretty easy to do, especially in the first few weeks. Why would you do that if Tesla matched the rate anyway?
Yes it does. For those of us that live in states that require a front license plate. Does the car come with an OEM front plate mount?

Sorry dId not notice. Appeared to be largely LR based on lack of red calipers. Still wrapped so maybe fresh delivery. Also noted “new process” on qr sticker. Any ideas what this may mean?Did they have the new headlights?
Well, you can park it in my driveway if you’d like. I’m in Maryland though. Ha haNot an option for me , I have military orders to report June 21…not in the country either…
The Tesla web site lists electricians local to zip codes that are familiar with installing chargers. (I ended up going with an electrician friend of mine)No not yet. I've called and emailed around asking for quotes.
I'm located in Howard County, so if you have any recommendations, I'd appreciate it.
Well, none of those 6 pictured are mine. Darn.Driving home today and stopped by Indy Castleton Tesla. Low and behold 12 new model Ys with wrap still on them. Perhaps hope for Indy folks waiting.

Check with legal and inquire about Power of Attorney.Tesla should have a Plan B for folks like you who are in the military, serving out country and have zero leeway on things like this. Is it possible to add someone else (family member?) to the registration so they can take delivery in case you're out of the country?
The last 2 weeks of June are going to be a total sh** show at the SCs with all of the deliveries. Really thinking about putting my order on hold, but don't have any rush to do so at the moment (no rush for anything when it comes to receiving the car). Here's my opinion without anything to back it up: Tesla is going to continue pumping vehicles out of Fremont as if there's no issue. As long as the SC can store them, they'll keep giving it to them. If an SC runs out of room, they'll just give them to another SC that can store them until they can start delivering. The end result could be that if you live in an area who's SC can't store them, that may push you towards the back of the line regardless of when you ordered. Then there's the challenge of SC's condensing possibly 2 months of delivery into a much shorter time frame.
I would contact an attorney, I feel like it should be relatively straightforward to assign a legal proxy to pick up a car. As long as they have a check in hand, or you transfer the funds, why not? They told me no…I was told the only person they’d allow was myself…which is weird because in 2005 when I was gone, my wife and I bought a house with me giving her power of attorney to sign tor me♂
I’m not going to linger over this..they either hold it or they don’t…it sucks but if I want one, I guess I’ll do what I have to..
Gip.Well, none of those 6 pictured are mine. Darn.
Yea, I plan to pay my balance with a check at time of delivery. No ACH monkey business. That sucks! I'm in MD and the guy at Rockville never mentioned.. I'm bringing a Check the day of and he said that is fine.
Details below...MSM with induction and white interiorGip.
What color did you have. I didn’t get pictures of the other ones on the side but a few MSM and black. No white or blue that I noticed.
The military does indeed offer Power of Attorney to handle situations like this. Just have to ask.I would contact an attorney, I feel like it should be relatively straightforward to assign a legal proxy to pick up a car. As long as they have a check in hand, or you transfer the funds, why not?
Does the military offer any legal services? Contact the VA? And also: THANK YOU for your service!
