Charging with Tesla “Universal” Wall Connector?

I expect it will work just fine.

I've been using one of the OpenEVSE chargers. I think it was this one: Discontinued May 2018 - v4 Standard or similar. 50 amp circuit, charging the car at up to 40 amps though I usually dial it down to 24 amps just to be nice to everything. It's been in use for years with my Roadster, occasionally my daughter's Model 3, and recently for my brother's 2023 Chevy Bolt. Never an issue with any of them.

To adapt the J1772 to the Roadster I use the CAN-JR when I'm away from home. At home I have one of the original Tesla J1772 adapter cables for the Roadster. It's a short cable that plugs into the car on one end, and drapes down to ground level with a J1772 socket that the charger cable plugs into. I leave it attached to the charger cable as essentially a fat spot in the wire.
