Charging % changes post charge

I've noticed some odd behaviour from my 2022 MY LR. When I set the car to charge to 80%, after unplugging for some time, the % rises. Most recently, I charged to 77% at work and had to disconnect early as I had reached my time limit, but by the time I left work (4-5 hours later) the SOC % increased to 80%. At home when I charged to 80% the car was at 84% when I left.

Is this indicative of some problem with my BMS or charging system?

I currently have a '23 MYP and previously had a '21 MYP. They both did the same thing as yours.

I figure temperature has something to do with it. Normal stuff.

Working as designed (really). You could even say you’re ending up with a more accurate number.

Quite common. The reported charge % is effectively a "good guess" and will vary with temperature.
