Just got my Delivery Form to fill in email (now completed)... Was told hopefully by the end of Dec/12???

Expect to get details soon. Was able to select Pick-Up OR Delivery to Address (selected home)

Can you give some more details? Was this a Word/PDF form or did it take you to the web site that the US Sig / Production owners have been directed to in order to make all the final delivery arrangements (financing, location of delivery, etc...)?

It takes you to a web page where you verify the info OR check boxes to questions like do you want financing, Trade-in, front License Plate holder mounted... Takes only a few minutes. (note: one bug on page... Beside Country - Canada it show the US flag / Not Canadian!)

So who knows... Maybe soon? Will keep you posted.

CDN Sig Res #146 / S/N 2101

Wait... what??? That's great to hear... but what happened to the 100 VINs before you?

For Alberta, all I need is a Bill of Sale and a New Vehicle Information Statement (NVIS) card.
I'll do my own registration. No one asks to "see" the car.
Is it any different in other provinces ? No extra effort from TESLA required to arrange my registration.

There may be "manufacturer/dealership" registration for the model line. In Manitoba, Tesla will have to have their own PST number, but I sure hope they had that already with Roadster sales (in order for them to properly collect and hand in PST). That's my speculation.

No forms for me today (yet). I remember having issues with incorrect info on my profile until a Tesla specialist told me I created my profile on the US site. Or he got lucky ;)

It's highly likely at this point that at least some CDN Signature cars are in transit as we speak, but I doubt we'll hear much more until the car is pretty much ready to be delivered.

If Tesla is only waiting on paperwork, I sure hope they bring the first cars to the Toronto store for prep ahead of time; go ahead and put my winter tires on! I hope our Ontario members can stalk the store for us and let us know if any shiny red cars arrive!

I can tell you that Toronto service is indeed putting winter tires on for my car. I'm not sure if they are doing all of the Canadian cars or whether that would be managed on a province-by-province basis.

In terms of keeping an eye on the store I have a client that happens to be in the area of the Toronto service centre. I've made it a point to drive by on my way home when I'm on-site with the client (most days of the week). If they happen to get a shipment in and I can see it from the street you can bet I'll update the group.

Got a phone call from TELSA about my email inquiry on possible delivery locations.
Interestingly he indicated that all Model S deliveries must flow through the Toronto location. (the only Canadian location) due to CND import regulations. IIUHC
Cars would be shipped across Canada from there.
( .. guess Toronto really is the center of the CND universe )

I'm not sure that there is any cad import regulations that require the cars transiting through the Toronto store. When I ordered my roadster from tesla Canada in Toronto the car shipped from California to my door via truck and never went near Toronto.

It didn't make a lot of sense to me either.... shipping back and forth across the continent.. but I didn't think there was any point in questioning further.
His follow up email indicated he was not a Delivery Specialist although he did say there are Canadian cars in transit to the Toronto store. Would be nice if correct.

That does not ring true, as others have said. My Roadster and all other BC Roadsters were trucked directly here from Menlo Park, and exported/imported at the Pacific Crossing from WA state.

Perhaps they were indicating this due to Toronto being the only open and functioning service centre for staging, but I happen to know that is soon to change. I know the street address and have seen photos today of the Vancouver service centre under urgent renovation, Tesla Red already on some walls.

I also asked directly how confident they were that BC Model S's would qualify for the $5k rebate, which requires a functioning physical "dealer" presence in the province, prior to delivery. The answer was "very confident."
