Hello to all, hopefully this is the right place for this. I’ve owned several others evs and now looking at a tesla. I am looking into buying a used 2020 model 3 sr+ with 23k miles on it for $30k. Just wondering what you guys think about that and if it’s a good deal? The bumper to bumper warranty is about to expire in 6 months (saw carfax) so all repairs would be on me. I noticed one of the speakers making a popping noise (hopefully covered under warranty) but other than that it seems to be solid. I know with most manufacturers the “bumper to bumper” has several caveats…certain things are only covered for 12/12 some 2/24 so I guess I’ll have to ask tesla about that.
I was looking at a 23 sr (rwd) and could get it for $40k but I want to save money. Idc about project highland so not worried about that and I already took the $7500 for one of my other evs and it’s my understanding that you can only take it once every 3 years so not worried about that either. Any issues with the 2020’sthat I should know about? Specifically the standard range plus? I’ve done a lot of googling but most articles are recent and it’s hard to find info on older models. Upside that I’ve learned already is it still has the old hardware so it still has uss and a rain sensor. From reading these and other forums I see folks aren’t too happy with the camera based system. Anyway, thanks for any help in advance.
