My wife took delivery of a i3 S Rex in January 2019. It was our first plug-in electric (we'd had Toyota hybrids for over a decade). It's still a great car, and it made me start looking for an EV of my own. I eventually got a MY LR.
Before the used car market started getting crazy last year, I looked at used i3s, and they seemed like a good deal for a second, city car, or a young driver's first car.
And with the ~40 kW battery of the 2019 model, and the range extender, I did some goofy things with our i3, like drive 2+ hours to the top of the tallest mountain on the East Coast.
