Bluetooth keeps dropping

I can not get my
iPhone to stay connected while on a call.
It’s extremely frustrating and these forums usually provide answers but in this case, I’ve done all the resets I can do multiple times.
I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max running 17.3.1 and have had no problems connecting to other Bluetooth devices.

My Tesla is running 44.30.14

I called service. They say underlying issue but that sounds like just a way to get my car in the shop.

Any thoughts?

No. I don’t use ATT and my issue isn’t calls dropping. My issue is the frequency of intermittent Bluetooth connectivity dropping.

What happens when the connection drops while you’re on a call? Does the call move to the phone? Was the same phone working as expected earlier?

Interesting that Tesla service on the app messaged me that they think the issue had to do with the fact that I had “sync contacts” on.
I have over 8000 contacts and the system is built to hold 5000.
I turned off sync contacts. Re paired and so far so good.

Yes. When it dropped it went straight to the phone.

It’s definitely made a big difference. I also see other apps running smoother. Like switching between radio and Spotify etc
