Biggest TV box that fits in the back?

With the holidays coming up, wondering what the biggest size TV still in the box people have fit in the back of there Y with the rear seats down. Hoping a 65 inch box will fit in the back!

I saw a photo on here recently of someone fitting a 65” in the back of the Y. It just barely fit so I have to imagine it is going to depend on the manufacturer and materials used for packing.

If you ditch the box you’ll definitely be fine.

I just picked up a TV in Wanderlust from Best Buy- The guy said “If you lay it down Best Buy will void your warranty “ (Seriously?!)

So we put it upright in the BACK SEAT and the windows even closed!
It was a 50”

65" box fits in the back of my model S with the seats down. The Y should have more room?

I've never heard of a TV with a tilt sensor.

no way. S is both longer and wider. Y is taller, but doesn’t really help in this instance.

I've heard the same thing about transporting flat screen TV's laid down... maybe it's specifically how they could be damaged and they can tell then when you make a claim? I'm not sure...

But also, you're doing it wrong. Get a BenQ HT2050a 1080p projector and a SRT 110" projector screen all from Amazon for about $1000 total. You'll be blown away compared to any 65 inch TV!
