Australian Deliveries of Model Y - All Windows Double Glazed?

It's 9 Oct 2023 and I'm about to order a MY RWD. Do the cars coming from China now have double-glazed windows front *and* rear? A guy down the road from me has double-glazed front windows but single-glazed rear door windows. He ordered his MY in Jan 2023 and took delivery around March 2023. Has anyone taken delivery recently as I believe both front and back windows are now double-glazed. I've asked the Tesla shop in Richmond (Melbourne) and they haven't a clue (aren't they supposed to be Subject Matter Experts??).

My MYP was ordered June 2022, delivered April 2023.
It has double glazed front and rear side windows.

My MYLR Built Jul 23 has double glazed up and down windows, not sure if any of the other glass is.

A lot of people excited about the new m3 being DG front and back. but they dont realise that at least in the MY the double glazing is really 1.3 glazing in the rear.

30% better than 1.0 haha. Although with my dog in the back the windows usually down so it’s 0.0

It's the air gap between the glass panes that gives the insulating effect, not the thickness of the glass itself.

You are right. Air gap for sound insulating, air gap for temperature insulating. However, I doubt there's actually an air gap here. I suspect this is just laminated glass.

Watching a YT vid from Tesla that shows how their glass is made (albeit I believe for a Model X), there is no air gap - it is laminated.

Please people! It's 'laminated glass' not 'double glazing' and is certainly not insulated double glazing. .. which would require a spacer and filled with argon gas.

Henry Ford was the first car manufacturer to use laminated glass, adding it onto all his vehicles between 1919-1929. Many other car manufacturers followed Ford by swapping to laminated glass, as it clearly became the safest and most suitable glass material for a windscreen.

I think it's been law in australia for a long time for windscreens - two pieces of glass with a layer of clear plastic between them - more like bullet proof glass than double glazing.

These are side windows - there is no requirement for side windows to be laminated in Australia
but as stated upthread these appear to be laminated
