I have pretty mint obeche wood interior panels in my 2017 Model S, but I would prefer carbon fiber to match my color scheme. Anyone interested in a trade for obeche wood? It looks very nice, I am just a carbon fiber guy.
On my previous S, I purchased a CF set on eBay with minor scratches. I wet-sanded and matte clear coated them from a rattle can - came out perfect. I then sold my wood set, minimizing my out of pocket expense.
I actually already had that eBay listing saved in case I couldn't find anyone here. Obviously a trade would be cheaper, but if that doesn't work out I will buy this. Thanks for looking out!
Please let me know if interested. I am going to be removing the trim to see if I can level my MCU better and want to just go ahead and swap it while it is off.

Thanks for the advice! I did exactly that and it looks awesome. The parts are currently infrared curing so I can cut/polish the clear coat. Most of it looks perfect already but unfortunately I got a couple of stray spatters and dust specks I want to remove. Did you cut or polish yours? If so, what did you use and would it work well on a few tiny imperfections like this?
