Amazon Echo - Best new tech gadget?

Nice. I understand how things work on the Alexa to Indigo side, but how do you script the state change into the Tesla? I'd love to be able to script IFTTT events into the Tesla app. I'm missing an API or some hook that is apparently old news, but I've missed it.

Some of the commands on that site are out of date, now, too. But, hit me up if you have any issues getting it to work and I can try to help. If you're an Indigo user, I've got some code written to do various things for a control panel in my house (shows battery status, charging status, has hot key for AC and unlock).

I just got an Echo and I hadn't seen this thread so I did something very similar. I created a JavaScript/Node.js app that exposes the Tesla charger and Tesla HVAC On/OFF controls as virtual WeMo switches. Just say "Alexa, turn on my tesla charger" and it calls the same Tesla "REST" API just like the official mobile phone app would. Works all inside the house without any need to install software at Amazon or give anyone else your Tesla login and password.

I just got an Echo dot and would love to have Alexa turn on the AC for my Model S. Any more documentation or tutorials from anyone here to do this? I have options on my own network to run this: a Mac, a Raspberry Pi 3 and a Synology Diskstation 1515+.
