2023 Model 3LR NO tow hitch cutout ?!

Hi everyone, first time posting on TMC, I just took delivery of my 2023 model 3 LR and ordered a tow hitch to use for trailering and my bike rack.
I saw multiple videos on how to install the tow hitch, only problem is that my 2023 doesn't have the OEM cutout for the hitch receiver!!
What should I do? Should I just cut a rectangular hole myself directly into the underbody rear panel to let my hitch receiver fit through it?? Did anyone encounter this issue? Thanks in advance.

North American Model 3 doesn't officially support a hitch, so there wouldn't be an OEM cutout. Perhaps you were watching a video of a European Model 3? They offer an OEM hitch in Europe.

In North America, I believe Model 3 owners wanting a hitch woul get something like a stealth hitch that doesn't require any modifications.

I don't have first-hand experience with a Model 3 hitch, this is all just from memory.
