More tomorrow in the sun! Car is already dirty tho cuz my neighborhood road is being paved and they are like halfway through it. Ps: the sub really does booooooom hahaCongrats! Post pics when you get a chance.
Mine is the same config as yours, and delivered last Saturday. I ordered in mid-May, and postponed delivery twice to get a 2022 VIN. Only issue is the frunk cover gap.My 2022 car was home delivered today without any issues.
Didn't have a lot of time to go over it yet, but so far I only notice some panel gaps which are within my threshold for acceptance.
The interior looks nice and clean, having never been inside a refreshed Model S before. Rode around the block and it drives like a dream.
Good luck to everyone waiting, and to repeat the hackneyed phrase "It's worth the wait!"
So they set up my service appointment for 12/29. So I guess no driving in the snow.I was thinking the same thing, but then they asked. If they don’t ask you, it doesn’t hurt for you to inquire. They can’t sell them as new by putting them on another car.
I took out a BoA loan and my down payment is scheduled to be done via the Tesla app and the Plaid interface. As of today, my BoA checking account is linked and the "send" button is ready to send my final down payment via a ACH. My delivery is scheduled for Monday, 12/6/21... My backup plan is a certified check at a BoA just down the street from the Tesla delivery Center...Anyone know how to initiate an ACH payment? It used to be an option on the Tesla app but once my bank sent them a check for the portion that I’m financing it’s no longer letting me add my bank info. I called the SC but as usual they said “we’ll call you back” but I’m not holding my breath
It seems like they closed out that option for me once they were notified that the check from my bank was on its way. I guess I’ll have to call them again tomorrow to see what they can do about opening up that option againI took out a BoA loan and my down payment is scheduled to be done via the Tesla app and the Plaid interface. Where do you see thisFWIW 18 new plaids dropped into inventory this evening. Not sure if that means anything for LR production.

I wonder what “no tow” means above? Is that related to transport of does it mean no factory fitted hitch?

Define safe. How do you make sure that your car is not one of these sitting out in the sun for months?
Tesla Factory In Fremont: Hundreds Of New Tesla Model S Disappear
If you remember, earlier this year Tesla stocked hundreds of brand new refreshed Model S cars in a temporary parking lot in Fremont, California. Now, those gones vanished.insideevs.com
Are you safe if you get 2022 VIN?
What did you order and when?My delivery window is now Dec 1st-15th, no VIN yet though!
Question: I saw some people post about requesting for all season tires? Is this available for all areas of the country? I am in California. Do I just email my SA to ask after or before I get the VIN?
Would be good if that’s the case. It looks like there’s provision for a hitch and I’d love to see a hitch finally as a factory option in the S.No factory fitted hitch.
Be very careful. The tires get bad below 45 degrees. At 32 degrees, at 30 mph, with any moisture on the road, even if it's not frozen, stopping distances are doubled. This also means turning, even at low speed is hazardous. If the temperatures get down to 20 degrees or lower, chunks of the tire can break off. Drive as if you have 4 giant hockey pucks for tires. So they set up my service appointment for 12/29. So I guess no driving in the snow.
Beautiful car. Is there lights in the door pockets? Thanks for the picsMore tomorrow in the sun! Car is already dirty tho cuz my neighborhood road is being paved and they are like halfway through it. Ps: the sub really does booooooom haha
The force required to close the doors is normal, and will lessen over the first couple of weeks. I took delivery Friday and mine are already loosening up noticeably. I had this same experience with my 2016 S, and after 2-3 weeks it was fine.I picked up my MSLR Blue|Black|19 this morning in Peabody MA. The delivery process wasn't as smooth as I fantasied it would be. I actually had to talk to a person, but they were helpful and walked through the car with me. Overall fit and finish looked great, except 2 things. One, somehow I got the summer tires. I had emailed them after I got my VIN and they assured me I would have all season. When I brought it to their attention, they seemed puzzled why I would bring it up, but thankfully I had the email. So I'll need to go back in the next few days to have them swapped out.
Second, one of the doors didn't look great to me. I guess I closed it not hard enough and it didn't close all the way. Both doors on the passenger side do it. If I close them with a little force (nothing excessive) they fit ok. Is this normal?
