I meant to say 282mile At 100% charge! Lol, I guess some people are getting 291 per full charge in here.Wow! If I knew those could go that fast, I would have paid the extra for the performance version

Remove your dashcam memory card and try again. Service will tell you anything to get you off the phone. My update disappeared half way through downloading yesterday. Service informed me that engineering pulled the update back.
The car will brake for no reason while in Auto Pilot. What's the phantom braking you are talking about?

Happened to my wife today and she doesn't want to use it anymore. We were going like 75 and it braked hard down to like 55-60mph.. not goodI really wish I could see a debug screen to report what is causing it
Anyone else getting an intermittent chime/alert since the update???
I get no warnings on the screen, can’t tell what’s causing it...
Is it your Speed Alert? You can set tone or a larger speed limit sign on the screen...
Good luck!

Like what? Maybe Model X doesn't support front vent without passenger? Or are you referring to the longer range display, which only applies to Model Y Performance model. The release notes on this update are somewhat different for the MX...View attachment 569235
I just downloaded the update on my performance model Y. My full battery range displays 269 miles like before. The service advisor told me I need to stop charging it in small increments to 90% daily or else it will throw off the algorithm and that the displayed Range is just an estimate not actual miles lol
Telsa likes to say a plugged in battery is a happy battery so there is no problem keeping it plugged in. 80% is fine.So what is the recommended charge rate, 80%? Also is it ok to plug it in every night?
Thanks!

AP still drives like a learner permitee and stutters stops and starts, overreacts to other vehicles, pedestrians and shadows, but like that nooby driver, will improve God willing

But we shouldn’t need to. I have a 2018 Outback with Eyesight and it never has these problems. Thus far, Eyesight is way better than Autopilot.Phantom braking isn't random; it happens for freeway signs overhead (likely from strong radar return) and occasionally overpasses. If you have your foot over the accelerator when you approach these, you can override with a tap to the accelerator without a large jerk. Not an excuse for what the software should do on its own, but at least my wife let's me have it on if I'm on my game.
